Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the standards widely used to make web content accessible to people with a range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments. We have not completed a formal third-party audit against this standard, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than something we have finished.
What we do
Our site is custom built and maintained by our development team. The measures we take include:
- Building on standards-compliant HTML and CSS
- Providing text descriptions for images so screen readers can describe them
- Using clear page structure and headings so the site can be navigated without a mouse
- Aiming for text and background color combinations that stay readable
- Reviewing accessibility as part of our ongoing site updates
